Travel Advice for Skiers Heading to Davos

General Travel Advice

• Sunday afternoon – Arrive at your hotel in Davos
• 15:00 (3 PM) – Check-in (check-in times may vary slightly)
• 18:00 (6 PM) – Meet & greet in the hotel lobby
• 19:00 (7 PM) – Group dinner for those who booked a package including hotel

if possible avoid booking flights that arrive late in the afternoon, as this can cause delays or missed connections with onward trains or transfers into the mountains

By Plane:

• Zurich Airport (ZRH): Approximately 1.5-2 hours by car. Book flights

By Rental Car:

• The trains are excellent in Switzerland that we would strongly advice you to not get a rental car unless you really want to.
• Rental Cars are Available at Zurich Airport. Book a rental car

By Train:

• Take a train from Zurich Airport to Zurich HB. From Zurich HB take a train to Landquart, then transfer to a train from Landquart to Davos.
• There is no need to book tickets in advance as the train will always have room for you and your ski luggage 
• Book train & buss tickets with the SBB app
• Note: Switzerland’s train connections are world-class, offering punctual and scenic journey
